SUNDAYS 10:30AM – NOON: MORNING SERVICE
WITH CHILDCARE AND CHILDREN’S PROGRAM FOR AGES 11 & UNDER
Sunday mornings, you are invited to our living room.
We call our auditorium “the living room” because we believe meeting together to worship God and learn how to follow Jesus in the real world, makes us truly alive.
The service begins @ 10:30AM with our music team leading us in singing upbeat, rich, and meaningful songs.
Next, we take a ten minute break for parents and guardians to escort their children, ages 11 and under, to the appropriate Sunday School rooms while the grownups are invited to help themselves to coffee, tea, or water.
After the break, we have the “family matters” segment of the morning. This is when we can get connected with the goings on of the Grassroots Church community so that we can pray for, participate in, and actively support one another through life’s joys and sorrow.
Then it is time for the morning’s Bible message. Most Sundays, Chris Pacholczak, the pastor of Grassroots Church is the speaker. Occasionally we will feature one of our own gifted folks from Grassroots Church or a guest speaker.
We conclude the morning with “the bread & the cup” more commonly known as the eucharist, the breaking of bread, the mass, or communion. Anybody who would like to participate is welcome to, while those who would like to pass for any reason are free to remain seated and take time for personal reflection. The “bread & the cup” concludes with a song and a prayer.
SUNDAYS 7:30PM – 8:30PM: EVENING ‘ENCORE’ SERVICE
Sunday evenings we do a simplified rerun of the morning’s music and message, without a break, and without “the bread & the cup”. This service has a nice quiet, evening feel to it. Folks are welcome to visit together after the service concludes. Unfortunately, childcare is not provided.
