Entering Into the Advent of Our Lord
This Christmas Eve we look forward to remembering the coming of Jesus Christ through celebrating the themes of Hope, Love, Joy, & Peace culminating in Christ. Together we’ll sing, listen to readings from the Bible, witness the lighting of all of the Advent candles, and take in a down-to-earth message about the meaning of Christmas. The service will wrap up around 7:30PM. Afterwards there will be some goodies and an opportunity to pass on season’s greetings to one another.

Opportunity to connect and grow with Grassroots Church
N.T. (Tom) Wright, and his book ‘Simply Christian’, has been one of many influences in the development of the heart and soul of Grassroots Church. Whether you are just starting out in growing your faith or you have been a Christian as long as you can remember, this is a group for you! Our own Tim Brown will be your guide, as each week a concise DVD presentation of N.T. Wright is viewed and discussed as we work through the content of the book ‘Simply Christian’. Course fee is $10 which includes a meaty participants guide. Copies of the book Simply Christian can be purchased for $25.
